  1. Hello,
I am a housewife and resident of Qatar on Family Visa. I intend to open a home based services for Accounting and Book-Keeping. I have over 6 years of work experience in accounting field, in India. I am a B.Com Graduate and CA Finalist.
Kindly suggest me how can I apply for such home based services and obtain license. Thanks.

    • Dear Pooja,

One of my friends tried to get this license but the criteria says that u have to be a resident of the house, which means the house has to be under your name. As an ex-pat, we rent the houses in Qatar and since only 1 house can be registered under 1 license it seems like we cannot register the owner as he or she lives at a different address. An inspection is carried out to verify the information in your application.
Unfortunately, this means an expat cannot obtain this license at least for now.
