Istidama and Seashore Group signed a memorandum of understanding to support environmental sustainability, effective waste management, and recycling. The agreement signed by Ms. Al Maha Al Majid, Chief Executive Officer of Istidama, and Mr. Saqer Saeed Al- Mohannadi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Seashore Group, represents a step towards a more sustainable and greener Qatar, as it aims to encompass a mutual desire to promote awareness in the field of environmental sustainability, efficient waste disposal and recycling for a more environmentally- aware society.
Ms. Al- Maha Al- Majid quoted, “The agreement aims to contribute initiatives for the Qatar National Vision, especially intending to balance sustainable development and the environment by promoting and creating awareness of the best sustainable practices.”
Mr. Saqer Saeed Al- Mohannadi quoted, “ We are very happy to sign this partnership with Istidama, uniting the efforts of both companies on promoting and creating awareness on environment-friendly practices to create a better future for everyone.”
The event took place at Barahat Msheireb at Seashore Recycling’s stall made from 100% recyclable materials as a part of the Qatar Sustainability Week 2021, organized by the Qatar Green Building Council.
وقعت شركة استدامة ومجموعة شاطئ البحر مذكرة تفاهم لدعم استدامة البيئة والإدارة الفعالة للنفايات وإعادة التدوير. وقعت الاتفاقية من قبل السيدة المها الماجد ، المديرالتنفيزي لشركة إستدامة ، والسيد صقر سعيد المهندي ، نائب رئيس مجلس إدارة مجموعة شاطئ البحر، والتي تمثل خطوة لجعل قطر أكثر استدامة وأكثر اخضرارًا ، حيث تهدف المذكرة لتعزيز الوعي في مجال الاستدامة البيئية ، والتخلص الفعال من النفايات وإعادة التدوير من أجل مجتمع أكثر وعيا بالبيئة.
واشارت المها الماجد : “الاتفاقية تهدف الي المساهمة في في تحقيق رؤية قطر الوطنية خصوصا هدف التوازن بين التنمية المستدامة والبيئة ، واكددت ان شركة استدامة للاستشارات والحلول المتكاملة تعمل باستمرار مع شركاءها في مبادرات ومشاريع تعزز الاستدامة وتعمل علي حماية البيئة كما تهدف هذه الاتفاقية الي تعزيز وخلق الوعي بشأن أفضل الممارسات المستدامة”.
وعبر السيد صقر المهندي: نحن سعداء للغاية بتوقيع هذه الشراكة مع شركة استدامة ، وتوحيد جهود الشركتين على تعزيز وخلق الوعي حول الممارسات الصديقة للبيئة لخلق مستقبل أفضل للجميع”.
أقيمت الفعالية في براحة مشيرب في جناح شركة شاطئ البحر لإعادة التدوير المصنوع من مواد قابلة لإعادة التدوير بنسبة 100٪ كجزء من أسبوع قطر للاستدامة 2021 ، الذي ينظمه مجلس قطر للأبنية الخضراء.
