Doha: HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), participated today in the 136th IOC session, which was held via video conference.
The session was chaired by HE IOC President Dr Thomas Bach and attended by members of the Executive Board, members of the IOC, and heads of International Federations and the National Olympic Committees.
The session discussed issues related to the development of the Olympic Movement, reviewed topics on its agenda and took appropriate decisions regarding them.
HE President of the Qatar Olympic Committee Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al-Thani attended the session.
