Doha: The Ministry of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs has announced that it will resume the process of issuing approval for labour recruitment from Sunday, November 15, which was temporarily suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The ministry confirmed in a statement that the system will be resumed to receive recruitment request from companies.
Ministry mentioned that each request will be studied and the company’s commitment to wages during the year and the provision of decent housing for workers will be looked into.
The Ministry indicated that the entry of new recruits will continue according to the travel and return policy of Qatar specified by the Supreme Committee for Crisis Management.
The Ministry will issue recruitment approvals according to the actual needs of companies and establishments.
