Qatar Campus – International Women’s Day Event 2021
Join our staff and students on the AFG College Qatar campus as they celebrate International Women’s Day.
International Women’s Day which falls on 8 March each year, has been celebrated across the world since the early 1900’s. Originally, its aim was to provide a forum for women to campaign for equality and women’s rights. Over time, it has evolved, and now in March each year, thousands of events are held throughout the world to recognise the progress that has been made, to inspire women, and to celebrate their achievements.

Choose to Challenge – International Women’s Day event
For International Women’s Day we celebrate women, and this year we #ChooseToChallenge every aspect in our lives that might prevent us, women, from being heard and recognized, being happy, celebrating achievements and success stories.
Join us on the 8th of March at 6.45 pm for two inspirational talks with our guest speakers, women who have chosen to challenge the norm in their lives. They had small wins and big wins in their journeys, but most importantly they are an inspiration for many other women.
Our speakers are:
1. Hend Amry, Libyan-American writer and self-proclaimed social media addict
2. Joelle Lahlouh, certified fitness junkie, instructor and a mom committed to making the world a better place
The session is open to all women interested in QPWN networking events, but space is limited and access to this session will be granted on a first come, first served basis. The registration deadline for this event will be Sunday, 7th of March, at midnight. This event will be held online, using a Zoom access link which we will only send to our confirmed participants.

Registration: Registration is required at qpwn.org/register and closes at midnight the day before the event. Those who have registered will receive the zoom link the day of the event.
