Doha: Qatar National Tourism Council (QNTC) has announced the upcoming events for 2021 through its online platform, Qatar Calendar.
As part of its efforts to develop and diversify the country’s annual calendar of events, Qatar Calendar unifies and coordinates efforts with QNTC’s partners from across the public and private sectors, allowing them to leverage major sporting competitions, entertainment festivals, exhibitions, and conferences. Secretary General of Qatar National Tourism Council and Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive, H E Akbar Al Baker, said: “Offering a streamlined platform for events taking place across the country, Qatar Calendar enables QNTC and our stakeholders across the public and private sectors to showcase our varied offerings both domestically and internationally. Coordinated efforts with our partners, complemented by the advanced infrastructure and the easy access to the country, will contribute to building the country’s reputation as a major destination for international events.”
