Yama Yoga was established in 2009 by Valerie Jeremijenko as Qatar’s first Yoga studio. Our goal was always to offer the Doha Community a space to practice in a welcoming environment and to share our passion and knowledge. With Covid 19 we closed our in person studio in September of 2020 but continue to offer the same quality of classes online and at our new center in partnership with Ananda Yoga and Detox, Koh Phangan, Thailand. We also now offer extensive retreat and teacher training options at our retreat centers in Bulgaria and Thailand.

Niya Yoga
Niya translates from Arabic as meaning “intention.” Setting an intention is an opportunity to direct your energy towards a particular quality which then begins to manifest around you. It connects what you do on the mat with how you live off the mat. Niya Yoga was founded in 2016 by Jawaher Al Fardan, with the intention of creating a warm, vibrant community here in Qatar where everyone is welcome to explore the power of yoga.
Our doors are open to students of all ages, levels and abilities. Whether you’re a first timer or an advanced practitioner, our experienced teachers are here to guide you on your yoga journey. We offer a wide variety of classes that cater to all moods and preferences: join us for energising flows; to relax and unwind; to reacquaint yourself with the breath; or to spend time connecting with your friends.

Dari’s Credentials include 500 RYT, Hot and Yin Yoga certified; 1st Degree Reiki Therapist; Sound Healing / Singing Bowl Certified.
With over 5 years of practicing the art of Hatha Yoga, Dari is the proud founder of Dynamic Hot Yoga. She brings to every yoga class a background in education and school counseling.
When Dari is not stretching bodies on the mat, off the mat, she is stretching young minds. Dari has taught at international festivals, initiated her famous Karma Yoga tour in US and in Nepal and holds regular yoga classes in the studio and online.
