You’ve definitely seen in the skincare aisle at different pharmacies, cosmetics shops – those slim bottles filled with clear or lightly tinted liquid. Toner for the face is a curious product. Many people use products without even realizing its benefits other than because of habit. We all are big fans of habit, but I am even bigger fan of sharing the best reasons to use toner and what it does for our face.
Face toner is a secret skincare weapon. It comes in a water-based liquid form that may be infused with skin-soothing ingredients like eucalyptus, peppermint, aloe Vera, cucumber, tea tree, orange, etc., You will see often toners are formulated in different ways made especially for your skin type. A toner’s job is meant to gently refresh your skin without depriving it of its natural moisture. This means toner won’t irritate sensitive skin or cause excessive dryness. Toner also prepares the skin to drink up your post-cleansing moisturizer and ready for makeup.
Toner removes any last traces of dirt, grime and impurities stuck in your pores after you wash your face. When added to your daily skincare routine and used regularly, it can have major positive impact on the appearance and tightness of your pores. Toner also restores your skin’s pH level, smooths skin by refining rough patches and improves skin tone. So many benefits in these multi- bottles!!
You need to be a little cautious with which product you want to buy for your skin depending on your skin type. Normal skin can go for any type of toner, dry skin can prefer moisturizing toners, sensitive/oily/acne or pimple prone skin can prefer soothing toners, pigmented skin can buy clarifying toners.
