Fashion show “ La Tessuti season 2” hosted by first ever Italian Fashion institute in state of Qatar ; Istituto di Moda Burgo, Qatar in collaboration with Jamila magazine was a huge success, the show was graced by special guest of honours by IMB Qatar chairman Mr. Ebrahim Akbar Al- Ashar, Honourable Ambassador of Italy to Qatar -H.E. Mr. Alessandro prunas & Ms. Amal Ameen a famous Qatari fashion Icon & entrepreneur on 30th May 2022 at Alwadi hotel MGallery, Msheireb Downtown.
Many VIP, Dignitaries were present H.E. Ridwan Hassan Ambassador of Indonesia to Qatar, representative from embassy of Turkey, distinguish guests, students’ family members, famous bloggers, media partners like Jamila Magazine, Marhaba Qatar, iloveqatar.net, Essence of Qatar, Radio Olive Qatar, Qatar tribune were part of show.
The event was massive success and there were more than 60 outfits including fashion collection inspired by famous architecture of Qatar glammed on catwalk which were designed by Istituto Di Moda Burgo Qatar fashion students under the guidance of their institute professional experts.
Moreover, the Co-founder & Academic head of an institute Mrs. Meenu prasad has flaunt the magic of her core knowledge of fashion techniques of Draping used in making haute couture clothing lines has also created the learning environment for all attendees and distinguish guest.

The fashion show was glammed with amazing visual display of student’s fashion collections which were created while pursuing their fashion courses at institute, there was special section created for best buddies – shafallah students, as memory of their sewing workshops in appreciation of their talent.
In appreciation of encouraging communities in fashion sustainability in Qatar, few students of burgo Qatar have also showcased their sustainable fashion collections and moreover, their collection was tribute to appreciate Qatar sustainability week 2022.
Last segment of event was dedicated for fashion show for fashion collections by internship & supporting partners- La boutique blanche, Afraa official, vghon Tassan couture & AJ Roma a new age abaya designer recommended by Italian chamber of commerce in Qatar.
The show was closed by special thanks to online internship partner of Istituto Di Moda Burgo Qatar – Al Huda centre of modest fashion Dubai and many other supporting partners who made the event look grand like Doha kick boxing, Monier, Jennyrtistic, Glambyafra, Italian chamber of commerce, Qatar, Scale7 , Marsa Abroad , Rejuv Skin care & spa , Doha women forum, brilliant café, shineclicksdoha.
